RAFFLE
As there is no free roll or discount for the host or TD, we use a voluntary 50/50 raffle to help compensate their expenses. Players are encouraged to join out of respect for the host. Tickets may be purchased prior to the drawing at the end of the first break: $10 for one ticket or $20 for 3 tickets.
50% of the pool goes to the winner of the raffle. 40% to the host for food, water, utility costs, providing tables/chairs, cards, and general trouble for a lot of guests. 10% to compensate the Tournament Director’s expenses for website maintenance, tournament software, chips, cards, and managing tournaments. Prizes may be rounded to the nearest $5.
